sadness

Sadness that I got a speeding ticket.

Sadness that a young girl took her life to avoid the pain she was in.

Sadness my son knew that girl and is now exposed, personally, to suicide.

Sadness the step-father my kids knew for 8 years has chosen to step out of their lives.

Sadness for the closure.  Sadness for the end.  Sadness for what was.  Sadness for the chapter.  Maybe the new book.

  1. I’m sorry. That is so painful. Much of my family chooses to not be in our lives. Many wonderful ones are around, but its the aloof ones that always seem to hurt the most.
