Faith is the power to stand up to the madness and chaos of the physical world while holding the position that nothing external has any authority over what heaven has in mind for you. ~Caroline Myss
A fork in the road is an opportunity. Certainly there is uncertainty and question….for each path offers something beautiful. To determine which path to take is often more difficult than the road itself.
As humans we want to know the outcome. We strive on analyzing and predicting. But as we bring love into consciousness, and as we practice present time awareness, we surrender into the unknown and live our life fully with the face of faith. In doing that we can lose that death grip hold we so often have on an outcome.
Through life experiences we are given chances over and over to face our lives with either faith or with fear. In the moment of surrender, we fully embrace our life into the hands of faith. We can believe that regardless of the loss or the heartache at the moment, faith will carry us through. It is in this knowing we feel comfort knowing that whatever path we chose, it is exactly right.
Here I stand at the junction of two paths. Each leads me towards a different outcome and neither have certainty. I am learning that it matters not which path I take, but that whatever path take, I do so with courage and with faith. I enter into a new chapter of my life with my individuality and my courage intact. I walk courageously knowing that the present time circumstances just may be doors that are yet to be open.
It is in this deep faith of knowing that God’s will shall be done that I can release the need to know why and embrace the moment as perfectly right.
“To proceed very far through the desert, you must be willing to meet existential suffering and work it through. In order to do this, the attitude toward pain has to change. This happens when we accept the fact that everything that happens to us has been designed for our spiritual growth.” ~M. Scott Peck, A Road Less Travelled
