May All Beings Be

While watching our state of Colorado burn endlessly enveloped in wildfire,  my heart is filled with such sadness.  Waldo Canyon is a treasured nature space where I reclaimed my spirit.  Miles and miles on the trails where I spent time alone with my tree friends is currently ruptured into flames of devastation.  The fire is rampant and ruthless in its destruction.

I sit here in a quiet space feeling the sadness for my community.  Tears fill my eyes as I say a prayer of compassion for the land, the animals, the trees, and the people. I hold my memories of the trails in a sacred space in my heart.  I express deep gratitude for the fire fighters risking their lives.

May all beings be safe.  May all being be healthy.  May all being be at peace.  May all beings be well.
